Bootlegger Beans
in frying pan or pot:
fry 3 strips bacon, diced, -
when half done add -
small chopped onion -
when onion is done pour off most of the grease -
add:
1 can large pork & beans
1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 tablespoons vinegar
2 tablespoons catsup
small amount of green peppers chopped if desired
stir well
put in baking dish
Cook in oven 325 for a little while until browned on top
